Who is responsible for the data?
Arxify AB (company reg. no. 559399-8122), Solnavägen 29G, 171 45 Solna, Sweden, is the data controller. Contact: info@arxify.se.
What data does the game handle?
The table lists all data the game handles, why, on what legal basis and for how long. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location, and the game has no accounts.
| Data | Why | Legal basis | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| Settings and progress stored only on your device: sound, music, language, your consent choices, your personal best and the last initials you used | So the game works the way you set it up | Necessary for the service you use (the data does not leave your device) | Until you clear the app's data or uninstall |
| Anonymous statistics: a random install ID (not your advertising ID and not linked to you), game version, platform, time and events such as game start, game over (score, time played, coins), level reached, capsules picked up, ads shown (type), ad reward and the purchase of “remove ads” | To understand how many people come back and how long they play, so we can improve the game | Your consent. You can say no and change your mind in settings. | 24 months |
| The high score list: three initials you choose, score, time played, game version, platform and the install ID when you finish a run that is your best so far or your best this week. Initials and score are shown to other players on the lists (all-time and this week). You appear once on each list, with your best score | To run the high score list and reject impossible scores (cheating) | Legitimate interest (a working and fair high score list) | 24 months. The 100 best scores of all time are kept as long as the game exists, or until you ask us to remove an entry |
| Ad data that Google handles in the app (advertising ID, IP address, approximate location, device and app information, ad interaction). See Ads below | To show ads that pay for the game | Your consent (in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland through Google's form) | Under Google's terms |
| The purchase of “remove ads”: an anonymous app ID and a purchase confirmation. Payment is handled by Google Play | To remove the ads and keep the purchase if you reinstall | Contract (the purchase you made) | As long as the purchase is valid, and as required by accounting law |
The web version stores the same local data in the browser (localStorage).
Ads
The app shows ads from Google AdMob. Google then handles, among other things, your advertising ID, IP address, approximate location (derived from the IP address), device and app information and how you interact with ads, under Google's own terms. We only receive aggregate revenue figures. Ads only appear after a round has ended, never in the middle of play, and a rewarded ad is always optional.
In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland Google's consent form asks for your consent before any ad is requested, and the game does not start the ad system until you have answered. If you say no, no ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time in the game's settings (Ad privacy settings) and reset or delete the advertising ID in Android settings (Settings, Google, Ads).
The web version does not show ads at the moment. If we start showing ads there, we will update this page and ask for consent first.
Purchases
The one-time purchase “remove ads” is made through Google Play, which processes the payment. We never see your card details. We receive a purchase confirmation through RevenueCat (our processor), tied to an anonymous app ID, so the purchase follows you if you reinstall the app.
Who else receives data?
We only share data with these providers, who process it on our behalf or under their own terms:
- Google (AdMob, Google Play): ads and payment of purchases
- RevenueCat: purchase confirmation (“remove ads”)
- Vercel: hosting of the web version and our functions
- Neon: database for statistics and the high score list, in the EU (Frankfurt)
Android permissions
The game needs internet access. The ad system adds access to network state and the advertising ID. The game does not ask for location, camera, microphone, contacts or storage.
Your choices
You decide about anonymous statistics and personalised ads in the game's settings and can change your mind at any time. No statistics are sent without your consent. You can also remove local data by clearing the app's data or uninstalling it.
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you think a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability, and to withdraw consent. Because the statistics and the high score list are not linked to your name, we can only find your data if you help us: tell us the initials, score and approximate time of a listed run and we will delete it. Write to us at the address above. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se.
Security and storage
Data sent to us is transferred encrypted (HTTPS) and stored with providers in the EU. We keep it no longer than the table above says.
Changes
We update this page if the game changes which data it handles, and the date above changes with it.
